Christiane Drame

Christiane Dramé
studied German and Romance Studies and Political Science in Berlin and Trieste. She completed a radio internship at JazzRadio Berlin, where she helped set up Germany’s first 24-hour jazz station. After an excursion into the world of (book) publishing in the areas of press and sales, she headed the press office of tRÄNENpALAST Veranstaltungs GmbH for six years. Since 2006, she has been working as a freelance PR specialist with a focus on culture and cultural education, initially within the framework of “Luxembourg and the Greater Region – European Capital of Culture 2007” and for film, performance, dance and music festivals in predominantly transcultural contexts, including HAU – Hebbel am Ufer and the Akademie der Künste. Since 2011 she has been part of the team of AFRIKAMERA – Current Cinema from Africa, where she focuses on increasing the festival’s presence and networking both nationally and internationally. At the same time, she has been responsible for PR work for theatres and independent ensembles for many years. She also works as a PR lecturer for training organisations and the VHS Berlin.

Uta Rügner

Uta Rügner
After graduating in Slavic and Cultural Studies in 1996, Uta Rügner was head of public relations at tRÄNENpALAST Veranstaltungs GmbH, KULTURBRAUEREI GmbH and Kesselhaus GmbH. At Hahn Produktion she was project and production manager for the “Russian Cultural Days in Germany 03/04”, an international cultural dialogue commissioned by the German Foreign Office and the state of Berlin. She is currently producing AFRIKAMERA – Contemporary Cinema from Africa with the team of toucouleur e.V., festivals for contemporary African dance with Kulturbrauerei e.V. in cooperation with HAU Hebbel am Ufer, manages and structures projects against racism, anti-Semitism and disinformation and in the culture of remembrance and works as a PR and cultural manager for independent cultural and film festivals and clients from the cultural, educational and social sectors. She advises associations, initiatives and freelance artists on the conception of funding applications and the administration of funds, and works on a voluntary basis for the protection and integration of unaccompanied refugee minors.
